  Beautiful grounds and Temple. The visitor center is great, with a lot of informative audio visual displays about the Church Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Sister Missionaries are so nice and helpful.

  You can feel the pioneer heritage in the architecture and the Spirit of the Lord while you are there. Simple, Beautiful and Elegant.

  You do not need to be a Mormon to appreciate the LDS St. George Temple. A lot of history and a great visitors center where everyone was very kind. And you can just walk around if you want
  There are some great picnic areas and picture opportunities. I would say it is worth a stop... :)

  It is hot outside. There was a gorgeous hawk cooling itself under a tree inside the temple grounds. We saw it after we were in wedding photos of a dear friend.

  This temple is beautiful, and has a very historical background for the Mormon (LDS) faith. To enter, a person needs to receive a temple recommend from a bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which can be obtained by any person who is keeping the commandments of God as practiced by members of that faith, including the commandment to be baptized by proper authority. However, any person can walk the temple grounds, whether or not he or she be a member. There are two visitors centers on the side of the old (no longer used) entrance to the temple, one of which talks about the history of St. George and the Temple, and the other has more general information about the LDS church and faith, including some videos and missionaries to answer questions. A must see for anyone passing through St. George.
